(1.88.5) Ultimate Apocalypse: The Hunt Begins Install

Finally, back with a new install tuturial for the latest version, we’re 4 months late but still in pretty good TSA time. This one is a little different, lots of things have been packaged with the main installer this time.

Definitions:

  • Game directory: Where the game is installed. Steam > Game > Right Click > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files.

Install Instructions:

This post is for a clean install from the base unmodified game, if you’ve modded you’re game before just reinstall it before following these instructions. We will not be giving upgrade instructions this time.

Download Stage:

Installation Stage:

  1. Gather your downloads for ease

  2. Run UA-THB-v1.88.5-Full.exe selecting the game directory

  3. Untick Open Browsertab - Tyranid Mod v0.5b2 we’ve already downloaded it

  4. Run Tyranid_Mod_0.5b2_Installer.exe selecting the game directory (you need to change it)

  5. On your desktop you will find two new shortcuts, run 4GB Patch for Soulstorm and select the game executable from the game directory

  6. On your desktop you will find two new shortcuts, run 4GB Patch for Soulstorm and select the GraphicsConfig.exe from the game directory

  7. Finally run the DoW Mod Manager v1.3 from your desktop and select UltimateApocalypse_TBH_DIDHT to launch the mod
